Great News!

We have so much to be grateful for and so much good news.  I am soon to be outnumbered by lots of boys.  We are going to be welcoming another baby boy October 18th!  My due day is officially pushed back by 8 days!   Bummer, but no surprise since I have PCOS.  The baby looks healthy on the ultrasound and was very active.   I'm excited to find out if baby boy #3 will share a birthday with anyone in the family. There are six birthdays in our family the month of October.  Mine is the 8th, my mom's the 13th, my dad's the 15th, my nephew Jaxson's the 20th, my little brother Jonathan's the 23rd, and my brother-in-laws Scotty the 26th. It's a busy month for birthdays.

3 BOYS!  I will have my work cut out for me!

Josh was upset at first because he wanted a baby sister.  His first response was "no it's a girl, your wrong.  I prayed for a baby sister."  He literally prayed for a baby sister for probably a year and a half.  Josh was also convinced that the ultrasound tech was wrong for about a day.  We talked about it a lot for a couple of days and discussed what they found in the ultrasound and talked about all the cute baby boys and other families that have just boys (like Jaxson and Jake).  After about a day and a half he understands and is on boars.  He is so happy to have a baby brother now.  Thank goodness, I was worried for a bit.  I am also amazed at how quickly and calmly he accepted it and is just fine.

We had visitors in April.  Becca, Landon, and their adorable baby boy and my cutest nephew Jaxson.  The great news is by end of July they will no longer be visitors but neighbors!  We are so excited for them to be moving out here to start Medical School!  The boys LOVE Jaxson so much and are so excited that they will get to see him more!

I took these Easter pics of the adorable boys while they were visiting.  I kept thinking it would be so fun to have three boys.  A month later that became a reality!  I had a hard time narrowing down the 90 photos I took (I know way too many, but it is hard to get 3 boys to all look good in the same photo).

And for the record I had real CAFE RIO in INDIANA!  You ask how is that possible?  Well, my very thoughtful, amazing sister in law (Becca) knew I had been craving their Pork Salad.  She surprised me and went way out of her way to bring it all the way from Utah on her flight!  I was in Heaven!  It is my favorite food even if nothing sounds good!  Isn't this salad beautiful!

Mexico October 2011

HEAVEN
I miss Mexico!  The ocean, the sand, the sound of the waves, the food, and most of all spending all day everyday with my best friend for almost a week.  It was so relaxing.

We arrived during a tropical storm with a warning of possible hurricane.  The first two days we relaxed, talked, caught up on years of missed sleep, walked in the rain(the resort provided umbrellas), watched incredibly scary and amazing storms from our balcony, played in a ping pong tournament that John won and I got 3rd place, and ate tons of amazing food.  The resort flooded as well.  They had pipes everywhere sucking up the water, so the flooding was gone as soon as the rain was gone.  It was supposed to rain for almost the entire trip, but we were blessed to have our last 4 days with great weather.

Our sunny days were spent walking on the beach, looking for sea shells, (I found 2 shark teeth washed up with tons of coral.  I was so excited about the shark teeth for the boys.  Who finds a real shark tooth at any beach ever?), swimming in the ocean, snorkeling, kayaking, lots of long walks on the beautiful resort, talking for hours, eating the best food I've ever had.

A fun memorable story:  On an evening walk we walked by the resorts version of American Idol.  We decided to watch for a bit.  It soon turned from hilarious tone deaf drunk people to American Idol/The Voice when girl from Ireland sang.  John and I were blown away from her talent.  As a side note, there were two famous record producers vacationing there and they both happened to be at karaoke that night.  One of them sang and he was really good and so entertaining.  Then the last person to get up was an absolute DIVA.  I had never heard anything like it in person.  Seriously, I had chills the whole time and was amazed that anyone could sing like that at all.  She sang Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You".  It was just as good if not better than the original.  She won that night without any question.  I wonder if she has a recording contract by now?

Note to myself for my own memory: My favorite restaurants: which I'm craving (pregnancy does that to you), Kampai (all their food and especially their fried ice cream), Las Fuentes (breakfast with Nutella and fresh fruit and their amazing vegetable omlets), D'Italia (best restaurant I've ever been too, their lobster bisque was incredible), Candlelight Dinner on the Beach (this was maybe a tad bit better than D'Italia, lobster cappuccino(there was no coffee, but it looked like a cappuccino, I have never had anything like it), fresh citrus salad both to die for).  Had my very first massage and afterwards was able to stand straight for the first time in my life.  It was incredible.  I need another one. Oh, and I miss hearing and saying Hola, I love how friendly the people were.
