Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in everyone. And as we let out own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

The secret to having it all, is knowing that you already do.
Your journal is your autobiography, so it should be kept carefully. You are unique, and there may be incidents in your experience that are more noble and praiseworthy in their way than those recorded in any other life... What could you do better for your children and your children's children than to record the story of your life, your triumphs over adversity, your recovery after a fall, your progress when all seemed black, your rejoicing when you had finally achieved?
-President Spencer W. Kimball
The only way to get through life is to laugh your way through it. You either have to laugh or cry. I prefer to laugh. Crying gives me a headache.

For attractive lips, speak words of kindness.
For lovely eyes seek out the good in people.
For a slim figure, share your food with the hungry.
For beautiful hair, let a child run his or her fingers through it once a day.
For poise, walk with the knowledge you'll never walk alone.

To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.

HAPPINESS is when what you THINK what you SAY and what you DO are in HARMONY.

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty
I’m on a full time sabbatical from my career in Nursing to embark onto a even greater career in the workforce of Motherhood and Homemaking. I see this as the greatest and most challenging career out there and that can make the greatest difference in the entire world. It is for such a short season, so I’m trying to soak in the joyous moments, because I know that this period of time will go by all to quickly. Actually, it’s already moving too fast.
There are days when in fact I have been literally working non-stop all day and have trouble putting my finger on what I have actually accomplished. I have had many days of sickness when I cannot accomplish as much as I desire. In the few quiet moments I have each day, I learn that it isn't the big things that are important but the small precious moments you have with your child, your husband, and with your little family.
Motherhood is truly is the ultimate of all careers and the highest degree on “Real Life Education”. In the field of Motherhood and Homemaking you can earn the highest degree of all in Teaching and Education; Nurturing; Nursing; Medical Doctor in the Specialty of the illnesses in your family; Psychology; Photography; Religion; Pharmacy; Culinary Arts; Nutrition; Interior Decorating; Family, Marriage, and Personal Relations; Communications; Art Education; Finance; Music; Speech and Language Therapy; Occupational Therapy; Business Management; Accounting; Time Management; Professional Organizing; Landscaping; Agriculture; Patience; a Language Degree that you can only get through raising a baby and toddler, etc, etc, etc... The possibilities are endless! I am so excited for the blessing and opportunity to be a Mother and a Wife. I am grateful that I am able to support my husband as we together endeavor in his career to provide for our family. Hope you enjoy reading my blog as I capture the small little moments that make life beautiful!
