Neurosurgery Here We Come!

John has officially chosen neurosurgery.  He sends in his applications in about a week and a half.  I'm excited for him because this has been his dream for so long and he has such a passion for it.  I have to admit I am very scared.  It is the most demanding field in medicine(as in the longest hours and the ups and downs with having such critical patients) as far as I know and will take so much sacrifice for both John and I.  I'm going to need so much support around me.  I'm so grateful that I have such a supportive family and friends.  I'll post where we are applying as soon as I know.  We could honestly end up anywhere, east coast, west coast, or the midwest.  John graduates in less than 9 months.  Where has all the time gone.  I cannot believe that we are almost done with this stage in our lives.

Visiting Friends/Old Roomates in Utah

June 2008
Alisha Clingo Jensen and her beautiful new baby Scarlet
Josh and Jocelyn(Alisha little girl) playing pattycake
Wendi and me at Cafe Rio(oh, I'm craving it so bad right now)
Totally loving holding a new baby(Scarlet).  I seriously can't wait!
I have a confession to make.  In this picture I really thought I was going to be having a girl or at least was really hoping.  Don't get me wrong, I'm excited to be having another boy, and just grateful that I can have another baby.  I have always wanted to have a daughter of my own and I always wanted a sister.  Unfortunately, never got a sister, but I'm still hoping for a daughter one day.
I also got to see Jocelyn Bennion, but unfortunately didn't get a picture. Help remind me next time Jocelyn.

Lake Powell June 2008

Lake Powell is the funnest place on earth!  Josh loved it!!!!  Everyday he talks about going on the boat, the water weeny, the ducks, etc.  It was so fun to spend so much time as a family and enjoy the sun!  We are going back in just 2 1/2 weeks, yeah!!!

Josh loved hanging out with his aunt and uncles.  Almost everyday he asks to talk on the phone to "Becky, Nate, Scotty, Gama, Gampa or Papi, Wary(Gary)."

Becca and Scotty cliff jumping.

Josh with Dad on water weeny
John wakeboarding!  Check out that air and the scenery!

I was so happy to wakeboard since I was so sick with my pregnancy and still sick on this Lake Powell trip.  This was the best that I had felt in two months.  If you know me you know that my favorite thing in the whole world is to waterski and secondly wakeboard.  I can't wait to go back.  I hope that I can do some fun things with my ever increasing belly size (oh, the joys of pregnancy).

It's Another Boy!

We found out last friday that we are having another boy!  Josh will sure love having a little brother!  John is excited and quoted "just three more and we'll have a basketball team."  I don't know what I think of that.  I'm hoping for a girl eventually and I don't think I'm going to make it to six kids, John can keep dreaming though.
